Tell Us About Them:

Justin was an avid poet who always seemed to write about his struggle with his addiction. He could make you laugh, even when you were having the darkest of days. He cared so deeply for his loved ones. His love of music you could hear daily throughout the house, all types of music he loved. His smile lit up a room!

Tell Us About Their Struggles With Addiction:

Justin started his addiction very young at the age of twelve with marijuana. It's quickly led to EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING that would make him high. Heroin found it's way into his life at the age of 18. He struggled with this disease from 12 years going from detox, to rehab, to recovery houses, to jail...and nothing seemed to help. I truly believe he wanted to stop, he just couldn't.

What Made Them Smile?

MUSIC! His daughter, Natalie, who is now 10. The Bible, and discussing religion with his Godmother, Rachel.

What Do You Miss the Most About Them?

His antics. His wit. His smile. Him pinching my cheeks. His hugs...

If You Had a Chance to Say One More Thing to Your Angel What Would It Be?

You made me so very proud of you....your strength with trying to get clean, and all the years away from us that you took in stride. I just wish I could have helped you. Please know I would have done ANYTHING for you... my love is your always. xoxo
