Tell Us About Them:

Anthony was a talented and smart boy , he played sports and played piano . He never was married or had any children , he was a brother and an uncle .

Tell Us About Their Struggles With Addiction:

Anthony got into a car accident and that started the journey with pain pills , when he could no longer obtain the pills heroin became his friend . He would get clean for small amounts of time but always found a way back to the heroin . As his mom , I hated to see his struggle and tried to do an intervention . I am an active member of AA and believe recovery is possible and there is hope . He became very angry with me for that attempt . But later on down the road he would become clean again and thank me and tell me he knew I was trying to help and that he would love me always . Anthony was clean and getting his life together , he had a car and a job and was genuinely happy . He could not wait to see me and. He would drive us fishing . We made plans and that was the last time I heard his voice .

What Made Them Smile?

Anthony loved to snow board and fish . Every time we went fishing he was smiling . He also loved to cook and he would smile when we cooked together .

What Do You Miss the Most About Them?

I miss his voice and his hugs our fishing trips and his love .

If You Had a Chance to Say One More Thing to Your Angel What Would It Be?
