Tell Us About Them:

John had the biggest heart!! He loved spending time with his family and always tried to protect the ones he loved!!

Tell Us About Their Struggles With Addiction:

John was a disabled veteran who was a Purple Heart recipient! He came back from Afganistan and couldn't deal with everything he saw over there and turned to drugs. John had been clean for 5 months when he relapsed and lost his life.

What Made Them Smile?

His family, me and his step daughter!

What Do You Miss the Most About Them?

I miss when he would give me a big hug and tell me that he loved me!! I miss always feeling safe when he was around!

If You Had a Chance to Say One More Thing to Your Angel What Would It Be?

That I love him so much and I miss him and I'm sorry I couldn't save him!
